Participants should be able to be communicate an understanding of the scientific basis of neurologic diseases and their treatment in a manner that makes the pathologic, diagnostic, and treatment rationales clear to the lay public and receive both an increased knowledge and understanding of the scientific basis of neurologic disease and tools to aid in patient education by explaining the scientific underpinnings of neurologic disease, diagnosis, and treatment.
