Seminar
Edward Fox, MD, PhD, FAAN
Participants should be familiar with the indications and risks associated with approved disease-modifying agents in multiple sclerosis and have a clear idea of which drugs in late-stage clinical trials show promise for patients. Participants will also have a clearer understanding of the mechanism of action of the MS therapies, and will be able to differentiate the characteristics of immunomodulatory and immunosuppressive treatments. Better identification of the appropriate patient populations for the newer agents is a goal of the program.
