Are you ready to be the change leader of tomorrow? Applications are now open for these all-expenses-paid opportunities that are unmatched anywhere else in the country. Participants can expect the highest caliber of leadership development that incorporates carefully tailored executive leadership training, one-on-one personalized coaching and mentorship, and collaboration with peers to re-energize and bolster their leadership journey.

In speaking to the impact that the AAN Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) has had on all aspects of her life, 2024 graduate Maya S. Graham, MD, PhD, a neurologist and neuro-oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, said, “I applied to ELP with the concrete goal of gaining the leadership skills needed for my next career move. ELP gave me that and so much more. As one of the esteemed ELP mentors said during our group project, ‘Leadership development is personal development,’ and I emerged from ELP not only a stronger leader but a more empathic physician, a more communicative spouse, and a more patient mother. Through guided self-reflection and the honest camaraderie of truly exceptional colleagues, I gained deep insights into my weaknesses as a leader and actionable means of improving them in an ongoing manner.”
