The discount is automatically applied during the online application process for applicants who are eligible to apply for a UCNS subspecialty certification examination under the UCNS-Accredited Fellowship Training pathway.
“The UCNS Board of Directors recognizes that following completion of a fellowship, fellows are getting established in careers, and certification application fees at that time may be a financial hardship,” said Board Chair Salvador Cruz-Flores, MD, FAAN. “By offering a discount on the certification application fee, there is an added incentive for fellows of UCNS-accredited programs to pursue certification following completion of their fellowship. The reduced certification application fee provides a benefit for graduating fellows of UCNS-accredited programs and an added value for the programs in their fellow recruitment efforts.”
