General Neurology
The major learning objective of this course is to improve clinician familiarity with interpretation of neuroimaging studies, with a focus on recognizing and evaluating abnormal findings on brain CT and MRI.  The approach to image interpretation focuses on determining the acuity of an abnormal lesion, its impact on surrounding structures, and an analysis of its features including x-ray attenuation on CT, and T1, T2, diffusion, susceptibility, and pattern of enhancement on MRI.
