Participants should be able to evaluate the current data regarding the conventional approach to neuroprognostication for disorders of consciousness and compare to the newest evidence using a multimodality paradigm of biomarkers, imaging, and expert evaluation; review cognitive biases that surround decision making in disorders of consciousness; understand current research landscape for treatment and outcome measures of disorders of consciousness; discuss the subacute and chronic recovery trajectory and long-term sequelae of disorders of consciousness.
