In this session, several AAN sections representing outpatient neurologic subspecialties will describe the development and implementation of national programs that engage residents in a subspecialty course to introduce them to the field. Each section will briefly share details regarding program structure, funding, benefits, challenges, and future directions. This session is geared towards residents, program directors, and all outpatient subspecialities who are looking to improve resident engagement and interest in subspecialities despite limited exposure early in residency.
