Participants should be able to describe current surgical treatment options for movement disorders, including deep brain stimulation, lesioning approaches, and novel therapies, as well as their evolving indications; apply evidence-based criteria to select appropriate patients and targets across major movement disorders; and evaluate emerging neuromodulation and surgical strategies with respect to clinical impact, safety considerations, and relevance to contemporary practice.
