Participants should be able to identify major cerebellar ataxia phenotypes and red flags for acquired causes; apply a stepwise diagnostic approach to differentiate hereditary, immune, metabolic, and toxic ataxias, including rare/unusual syndromes; interpret MRI patterns and targeted lab/genetic tests to select next steps; design an initial management and referral plan, including counseling and symptomatic therapy; and evaluate evidence for emerging ataxia therapies and trials.
