Participants should be able to apply current evidence and guidelines to decision-making in acute pediatric stroke interventions, neurocritical care, and etiologic evaluation; evaluate emerging therapies (e.g., tenecteplase, neuroprotective strategies, expanding interventional approaches) for potential application in pediatric practice; and construct a systematic diagnostic approach to pediatric stroke that includes arteriopathy, cardiac sources, hematologic disorders, infectious/inflammatory conditions, and genetic/metabolic causes.
