Health Care Disparities
Participants will be able to evaluate a neurology residency training program initiative on neurology and health equity, including curricular design and implementation, for relevance to their own institutions/centers. Participants will recognize neonatal neurological health inequities and ways to incorporate them into the neurology and health equity agenda, considering the lifespan and life course of brain health equity. Participants will recognize emerging issues in global health and neurological diseases with a focus on lower-income country settings and the global status of neurological care. Finally, participants will be able to openly discuss and define ways to enhance collaborative efforts on neurology health equity, including new shared actions for their home institutions and programs in ways that are both pragmatic and relevant.
