We will examine how these same temperature extremes uniquely affect patients with neurological diseases, revealing both therapeutic potential and hidden risks. This talk will be applicable to those caring for patients exposed to temperature extremes through severe weather events and highlight how the integrity of the autonomic nervous system influences responses in hot and cold.
