Participants should be able to understand the criteria used in distinguishing demyelinating from axonal peripheral neuropathies; define an electrodiagnostic approach to diagnosing myopathic disorders; understand the techniques used to identify and localize ulnar neuropathies; be able to identify motor neuron disease and distinguish from similar disorders; and recognize and understand the pathophysiology of unusual EMG waveforms.
