Learning Objectives Participants should be able to develop strategies for diagnosis and assessment of patients with sleep complaints (hypersomnia, insomnia) likely to be encountered by neurologists. They should become familiar with commonly used screening tools and diagnostic tests (multiple sleep latency tests, actigraphs, out-of-center testing, attended overnight sleep studies) used in sleep medicine. Participants should be able to manage and treat common sleep disorders, such as restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, insomnia, sleep apnea, and circadian rhythm disorders.
