Learning Objectives Upon completion:
Participants should be familiar with relationships between genes, proteins and phenotype in parkinsonism, chorea, dystonia and ataxia; be aware of refined and novel pharmacological approaches to Parkinson's disease; understand practical management of dystonia, ataxia, and behavioral manifestations of movement disorders; and recognize the promise and potential pitfalls of gene therapy in Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed Movement Disorders and has approved this product as part of a comprehensive lifelong learning program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of maintenance of certification.
