Participants should be able to write letters of recommendation that will best convey their trainee and be able to better interpret letters of recommendation when reviewing applications, use techniques such as the "One Minute Preceptor" to assess trainees and provide oral feedback to the learner in a short period of time, provide useful written feedback to the trainee, and teach while bedside rounding and be able to highlight "teachable moments."
