Participants should be able to understand the basic principles of neuromuscular ultrasonography, including its advantages and limitations, and the role of ultrasound in the diagnosis of entrapment neuropathies; become familiar with the techniques required to use ultrasound in the guidance of neuromuscular procedures, and the methods required to use muscle ultrasound; and learn to integrate electrodiagnostic and sonographic information through case presentations.
