Learning Objectives Participants should be knowledgeable about the optimal management of acute cerebral infarction, including patient selection for thrombolytic treatment, endovascular therapy, and surgical interventions; and develop a logical framework for implementing various long-term vascular risk reduction strategies, including selection of antithrombotic agents, lipid modifiers, antihypertensive therapies, closure of PFO, and revascularization procedures.
