Participants should be able to understand what are the most important questions while assessing a patient with neurologic lesions; understand the location of the lesion, to correlate it with findings and to conduct other investigations; gain knowledge of how we investigate the fundamental questions in neurologic investigations; be aware of how history contributes to the ways we think about and conduct neurologic investigations; and recognize the important contributions of famous and 'forgotten' pioneers in developing tools and approaches that are still fundamental in contemporary neurology.
