Learning Objectives Upon Completion:
Participants should be familiar with methods of evaluating patients with sudden visual loss, diplopia, and ophthalmoplegia; be able to use pupillary and ocular motor findings to distinguish metabolic from structural causes of coma; and have a systematic approach to the patient with anisocoria and an understanding of the indications for treatment of papilledema.
