Upon Completion:
Participants should know the indications for cervical and lumbar spine decompression and fusion; understand the wide variety of procedures that are performed on the spine including newer, minimally invasive techniques; understand the principles and practice of intraoperative electrophysiological spinal monitoring; be familiar with the anticipated outcomes and possible acute and chronic complications of spine surgery; and be better able to care for the patient who has undergone spine surgery.
