Upon Completion:
Participants should become familiar with the optimal management of acute cerebral infarction, including general medical strategies, thrombolytic therapy, and endovascular and surgical approaches; have a logical framework for implementing the best secondary prevention strategies after cerebral infarction, including selection of antithrombotic agents, assessment and treatment of risk factors, and consideration of surgical or endovascular options; and be familiar with the treatments of intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage and their most common acute complications.
