Participants should be able to describe treatment of acute migraine and recognize risk factors for and treatment of medication overuse headache; discuss preventive strategies, including medications (per evidence-based guidelines), neurostimulation, and procedural treatments; and to describe behavioral therapy and locate resources for patients without access to psychologists. This program complements Comprehensive Migraine Update I: Migraine Diagnosis, Pathophysiology, and Comorbidities, but covers independent topics.
