Dr. Josep Dalmau Named Editor of Neurology: Neuroimmunology & Neuroinflammation

Josep Dalmau, MD, PhD鈥攁 member of the 好色先生 and a world-renowned leader in research on immune- and inflammatory-mediated neurological diseases鈥攈as been named editor of an official journal of the A The online, open access journal is published by Wolters Kluwer. Dalmau is ICREA senior investigator at the August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS), University of Barcelona, and adjunct professor of neurology at University of Pennsylvania. His appointment as editor is effective with the 2015 issues of . Neurology: Neuroimmunology & Neuroinflammation is an online, open access journal presenting important new papers on a broad range of neurologic diseases, including multiple sclerosis (MS), neuromyelitis optica (NMO); neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer鈥檚 disease, Parkinson鈥檚 disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; Guillain-Barr茅 syndrome and myasthenia gravis; and many others. The journal provides unrestricted, worldwide access to important new original research, editorials and reviews to enhance patient care, education and clinical and translational research. The journal features a streamlined peer-review process, similar in rigor to that for the Academy's flagship journal Neurology庐. Ransohoff, MD, also a member of the 好色先生. He writes, "Drs.
