Press Room Registration Opens for AAN Annual Meeting
ST. PAUL, Minn. -
What: Registration is now open to journalists planning to attend the 63rd Annual Meeting of the (AAN) in Hawaii, April 9–16, 2011. The AAN Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of neurologists who come together to share the latest advances in neurologic research. The AAN Annual Meeting Press Room serves hundreds of print, broadcast, and online reporters from around the world. More than 10,000 neurologists and neuroscientists are expected to attend the Annual Meeting, which will highlight the latest advances in neurologic research through more than 2,500 poster and platform sessions of research, as well as late-breaking research, key lectures and 175 educational programs on 26 neurology topics. Members of non-U.S. media are required to pre-register in advance of the 2011 Annual Meeting by April 1, 2011. On-site registration will be permitted for all U.S. media. Key Dates Before and During the Annual Meeting: Select non-late-breaking abstracts of scientific research presentations will be posted online via www.aan.com on February 23, 2011. Late-breaking abstracts will be embargoed until their date and time of presentation at the Annual Meeting and will not be published online. Press conferences on late-breaking abstracts will begin on Monday, April 11, 2011, and continue throughout the week of the Annual Meeting as presentations are being made.
