Who: Some of the best and brightest neurologists in the world along with more than 30 exhibitors will share the latest advances in understanding how the brain works, managing neurologic disorders and healthy living. Keynote address to be delivered by Keahi Tucker, News Anchor for Hawaii News Now, and Bruce Sigsbee, MD, FAAN, president-elect of the , the world’s largest professional association of neurologists with more than 22,500 members. The ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú is hosting its Annual Meeting in Honolulu April 9-16, 2011. Brain Health Fair Events: • Brain Health Classes - Led by top neurologists, people will be able to ask questions, receive answers and participate in support groups for patients and caregivers. Topics include Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury/concussion and headaches. • Exhibit Hall – Patients, caregivers and families are invited to experience new tools and resources, including brain exhibits to show how the brain works. Free health screenings, memory testing, medical equipment demonstrations, bike helmet giveaways for kids and lots of giveaways from more than 30 exhibitors. • Kids and Teen Zone – The brain and all its wonders is the highlight for kids and teens in a fun, educational experience aimed at families. You’ll learn about the brain and nervous system, the field of neurology, and what a neurologist does. Check out the exciting activities for kids five through 18, including brain games and brain scan demonstrations.
