Elevate your AAN member status
AAN member designations
Consider elevating your member status to Fellow (FAAN) or Distinguished Colleague of the AAN (DAAN), the AAN's esteemed categories of membership. Apply to be rightfully honored for your notable contributions to the neurosciences, the clinical practice of neurology, or academic/administrative neurology. Not only will you join other respected FAAN community members, but this special designation also opens doors to leadership opportunities and career growth, including eligibility to serve on the AAN Board of Directors.
Fellow status, for neurologist and physician members, acknowledges exemplary work and achievements in the neurosciences, the clinical practice of neurology or academic/administrative neurology, in the AAN, and in your community.
Distinguished Colleague status acknowledges non-physician members who work as part of a physician-led care team, demonstrate exemplary engagement in the AAN, and show an ongoing commitment to professionalism and leadership in the field of neurology.
