Participants should be able to understand the current status and rationale supporting monotherapy and combination therapy strategies; appreciate recent clinical and scientific advances that impact therapeutic approaches; understand the most current biology and clinical effects of monoclonal antibodies, including natalizumab; and be able to describe special patient populations and non-MS demyelinating diseases for which emerging data suggest different therapeutic strategies may be required.
