Participants should become familiar with methods of cognitive rehabilitation that are used to treat a variety of cognitive impairments, such as executive functioning and neglect after brain injury, as well as evidence to support the efficacy of these interventions; understand how physiological and pharmacological interventions can be part of cognitive remediation; and become familiar with medications that may be beneficial in treating cognitive disorders after TBI and the evidence to support their efficacy.
