Cognitive Neurology/Neurologic Disorders Presenting with Psychiatric Symptoms
Upon completion:
Participants should be able to understand the prevalence and importance of psychogenic symptoms; review diagnostic methods for psychogenic symptoms commonly seen in neurology and outside of neurology; review the various psychiatric diagnoses underlying psychogenic symptoms; understand how to differentiate intentional faking from unconscious production of symptoms, and review methods used in the neuropsychological assessment of effort.
