Learning Objectives During this course participants will recognize the clinical presentation and diagnostic tools availabel for acute meningoencephalitis; recognize neuroimaging patterns in common neuroinfectious diseases; provide a differential of acute meningoencephalitis and develop a framework for evaluation and management of common neuroinfectious diseases (i.e. HSV-1 encephalitis and neuroinvasive West Nile Virus). This program complements Infections of the Nervous System 2 and Infections of the Nervous System 3 but covers independent topics.
