Participants should recognize the complexities involved in identifying and diagnosing concussion; become familiar with the myriad ways in which individuals present with symptoms or signs in the acute, sub-acute, and chronic timeframes; and develop skills useful in comparing and contrasting approaches to evaluating and treating individuals with concussion in varying environments (adolescent/collegiate/professional sports vs work and personal injury).
