Learning Objectives Participants will become familiar with the evolving landscape of fluid-based (blood, CSF, etc.) biomarkers (especially proteins) after traumatic brain injury (TBI); recognize what markers may have clinical applications, and what makers are under investigation and not ready for clinical use; learn how fluid-based biomarkers can be incorporated into multi-modal prognostication after TBI; and recognize emerging methods for new biomarker identification and validation.
