Practice, Policy, and Ethics
Participants will gain an understanding of the important topic of burnout in the field of neurology, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic; specifically, a focus on various tension as it relates to the regulatory requirements and desire to maximize patient outcomes in our field. In addition, information on the Triple Aim of Healthcare in relation to Quality and Value Based care will be included tying in the meaning and literature around adding provider satisfaction to form the Quadruple Aim. Many AAN-developed resources to target patient outcomes that can reduce provider burnout will be presented.
