Academic medicine requires teamwork. Shifting call days, covering in the setting of illness of yourself or colleagues, planning travel for CME and talks, and how to manage having children and dealing with family emergenices require the academic neurologist at all levels to lean on their colleagues. Attendees should learn when to ask and when not to, how to ask, and how to say thank you; techniques to stay in the good graces of your collegues will be discussed.
