Movement Disorders
Participants should become familiar with the features to suspect the diagnosis of atypical Parkinsonian disorders, including MSA, PSP, and CBD. They should be able to discuss the diagnostic work-up based on the most recent diagnostic criteria and formulate therapeutic recommendations for the key motor and non-motor features. They should be also informed about the pathophysiological rationale of disease-modifying approaches currently under development.
