Practice, Policy, and Ethics
Administrative burdens on providers and staff have escalated over the past two decades and take up a significant portion of limited time that should be dedicated to patients. This course will highlight best practices in making meaningful changes to improving practice flow and reducing inefficient care. Topics addressed will be staffing recruitment, retention and recognition; removal of duplicative efforts; implementing productive group meeting strategies; leveraging the use of technologies such as electronic prior authorization, chatbots and artificial intelligence; review existing contracts and vendors and look for missed streamlining opportunities.
