Learning Objectives Faculty will define scenarios for when continous EEG is indicated in pediatric patients with acute brain injury, discuss risks and benefits of aggressive treatment of subclincal seizures in children with acute brain injuries, describe the pharmacology of ketamine and its role in seizure management, and explore potential risks and benefits from early use of ketamine to treat status epilepticus in critically ill children.
