Learning Objectives This guided session will review the process and benefits of having an APP in neurology practice. The use of APP's in neurology is still in its infancy, but it is the largest growing group within ��ɫ��. It is estimated by 2025 the demand for neurologist will exceed the number of practitioners in the US by 19%. Still, many neurologists are unsure how to integrate APPs within their practice. This session is geared to both neurologists interested in employing APP's as well as APP's transitioning into practice, and participants should be able to identify educational gaps that may exist for the advanced practice provider to specialize in neurology and discuss how to fill those gaps, give examples of contracts in both private practice and hospital/system-based employment that are beneficial for both parties, and analyze what components are needed for long-term retainment of advanced practice providers.
