After this session, attendees will be able to define and differentiate what a theory, theoretical framework, and conceptual framework is in health professions education research; identify and utilize a theoretical and conceptual framework in a health professions education research study; define qualitative and mixed methodologies and identify best-practice in designing, conducting, and publishing education research incorporating these methodologies.
