The PUMP Act (Providing Urgent Maternal Protections (PUMP) for Nursing Mothers) signed into law Dec 29, 2022, expands requirements for employers to provide a reasonable break time for an employee to express breast milk and a private place to pump at work. Join our "Conversation Corner" panel on the PUMP Act, where we'll discuss practical applications for supporting lactating neurologists. From advocating for protected lactation break time to ensuring adequate facilities and considering productivity adjustments, we'll address the needs of both potential parents and academic leadership.
