Participants should be familiar with the present understanding of how a blast may cause TBI; have a clear understanding of the process of assessing and caring for a patient from the combat theater to a stateside military medical center, as well as the VA hospital system; and will be familiar with the common comorbid conditions seen with TBI that influence time and degree of recovery.
