Participants should be able to define menopause and describe the hormonal changes that occur during menopause and how they relate to neurological disease; recognize the changes in excitation, immune function, and protein expression occurring during menopause; provide examples of neurological conditions likely to exacerbate during menopause; and recognize approaches to treatment of menopause-specific exacerbations.
