Women's Issues
Participants should be able to recommend safe options for symptomatic and prophylactic treatment of headaches during pregnancy; evaluate strokes during pregnancy and recommend which medical therapies and interventions should be used; understand work-up, management, and treatment of the pregnant patient with multiple sclerosis; understand the risks of seizures and various antiepileptic drug regimens during pregnancy; and recognize movement disorders in pregnancy and use safe, appropriate treatment.
