Learning Objectives Participants should be knowledgeable about the optimal management of acute cerebral infarction, including general medical strategies, thrombolytic treatment, endovascular therapy, and surgical approaches, as well as their relevant therapeutic windows; develop a logical framework for promptly implementing various vascular risk reduction strategies after acute cerebral ischemia including selection of antithrombotic agents, lipid modifiers, antihypertensive therapies, and revascularization procedures; and understand key issues in the treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage and their most common acute complications.
