Participants should be able to identify how to improve patient safety by reducing the likelihood of diagnostic errors; demonstrate nature, cause, and remedies for diagnostic error; demonstrate strategies for misdiagnosis prevention and misdiagnosis-related harm; identify increased safety opportunities through simulation and diagnostic technology training to promote diagnostic clarity; and develop strategies for preventing neurologic misdiagnosis in frontline healthcare settings such the emergency department
