Neuromuscular and Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG)
Participants should be able to understand the history and evolution of myasthenia gravis treatments from acetylcholinesterase inhibitors and oral immunosuppressants to the development of novel targeted therapies; understand the mechanisms of action of novel myasthenia gravis treatment, including complement inhibitors and neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) blockers; and learn how to integrate antibody subtype, disease severity and comorbidities to develop indivdualized treatment strategies.
