Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG), Palliative Care
Participants should become familiar with common clinical scenarios and management tools relevant for Palliative Care in the setting of neurologic disease.  Participants should also get updates on the latest approaches to diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders. Learn the updated names for the various types of seizures. Understand the new classification of the different epilepsy syndromes. Know when to treat a first seizure. Learn when it is reasonable to stop antiseizure medications. Plan how to treat acute repetitive seizures (clusters). Know the three stages of status epilepticus and the guidance on how to treat them. Understand the newest information on pregnancy management and driving advice.
