Participants should be able to describe the diagnostic approach to patients with suspected myositis; recognize the diagnostic and prognostic values of myositis associated antibodies, and their role in cancer risk stratification; identify the histopathological and electrodiagnostic findings in inflammatory myopathies and their clinical significance; and and review the treatment approach to inflammatory myopathies.
