Autoimmune Neurology
Participants should become familiar with the evolving spectrum of autoimmune neuropathies, including CIDP, autoimmune nodopathies, and autonomic ganglionopathies. The course will also review autoantibody testing and nerve conduction/EMG studies, emphasizing diagnostic distinctions among demyelinating neuropathies, nodal/paranodal dysfunction, and sensory neuronopathy in case-based approach. Updates on electronic calculators and web-based diagnostic tools will be presented, highlighting diagnostic accuracy across CIDP, variants, and mimics. New and emerging immunotherapies, including targeted antibody-based treatments, will also be reviewed.
